Some of you might remember the cyclist Eric Cheung. He was knocked down by a lorry driver after he damaged the lorry's side mirror. Many netizens cheered the lorry driver on back then. You can watch the video here: if you need a refresher.

However, news just broke that the lorry driver might be jailed for at least 2 weeks. He will be facing charges for not making a police report within 24 hours of a car accident and also the charge of acting rashly to cause hurt.

Under the penal code, not making a police report within 24 hours of a car accident can get him a maximum punishment of either a fine of S$1,000 or a jail term o three months. The charge of acting rashly to cause hurt can get him a punishment of an imprisonment term of one year, or a fine of S$5,000 or both.

We hope for all the best for the lorry driver.
